Hey guys!
My name is Katie and I’m a fourteen year old SA chick living on a farm an hour away from Cape Town. I was born as the youngest of three kids in East London on the eastern coast of South Africa but moved to the cape when I was like nine months or something. I’ve been homeschooled since I was two years old which is freegin’ awesome and I have so many amazing people in my life. I seem to be stuck in an adults’ world and thus at least half of my buddies are over the age of 20.
Ever since I was tiny I’ve believed in Jesus and His dying on the cross to save us from sin and death, and about two years ago, I finally started making a true effort in building and growing my own personal relationship with Christ. I’ve read books, and I’ve spent hours reading the Word, growing my understanding of who God is and how He as God the Son died and rose again to give us eternal life.
Somedays I feel like I want to be a writer, and on other days I want to spend the rest of my life counseling victims of abuse (emotional and physical), rape, disasters, and those living in depression and threatening suicide. I love people and all I want to do is help the world.
Travel writing could be a pretty incredible job hey? What do you think?
